The symbol of peace, fertility and well-being: the olive tree. It is a trademark of Mediterranean way of life, a Christian ceremony and celebration. This mythical and biblical plant was cultivated 6,500 years ago and its precious oil is not only a culinary enjoyment but the most important fat in human nutrition,  part of body care and cure for many ailments. Olive oil tastes unusually bitterish, with extraordinary scent and is excellent for seasoning the finest dishes. According to many people olive oil is the elixir of life and carefully kept secret of longevity. It is the oil of God’s mercy and anointing. ‘Olea Dalma’ olive oil originates from the most fertile region of northern Dalmatia, called Ravni Kotari. Mediterranean climate along Adriatic Coast and more than 200 sunny days a year are ideal for growth of homegrown plants. One can see it, smell it and taste it. Tradition & Challenge

Love for nature allowed us to return to family roots, tradition and peace. Our olive trees enjoy the Mediterranean abundance on 5 hectares of land bathed in sun and combed by bora from Velebit.

Our family has been engaged in olive growing for 15 years. Approximately 1300 trees is grown in the region of Veljane, 17km east from Zadar, with more than 13 domestic and introduced breeds, which gives the olive oil special and specific taste. The whole selection comes out of controlled breeding. Ecological production requires a lot of work and continuous engagement and improvement. For the love of nature and because our tradition binds us , we have decided to produce healthy food with maximum care for our environment for the generations that will come. This is our greatest motive, our vision and challenge in Olea Dalma project.

Olive oil is the base of Mediterranean cuisine, equally good for cold dishes as well as for hot ones. It is suitable for frying and cooking since it is the most stable fat of all. Olea Dalma olive oil makes every meal truly delicious and enjoyment for all senses, due to the aromatic flavours. All olive oils are not the same.

The procedure of pressing olives is crucial for making excellent olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil or extra vergine is a product without organoleptic flaws. It is produced exclusively from the first cold pressing whole olives with temperature not above 27⁰. This oil contains less than 0.8% of free fatty acids and is classified as belonging to the first class oils. It is the most appreciated, richest with aromatic and biologically valuable substances. Olea Dalma offers only extra virgin olive oil, a true gourmand enjoyment. Olives have extraordinary ability to absorb scents of their surroundings, and that is why our oil has the scent of freshly cut grass, lemon and aromatic herbs of northern Dalmatia. The abundance of colours, scents and tastes is the perfection of nature and is comprised in Olea Dalma olive oil.
